The moon has been beautiful here lately. Stunning evening moonrise over the Chugach mountains, just east of Anchorage. Gorgeous harvest moonset, to the west, in the morning. I've had several people ask me this week if I photographed it. The answer is no - nor did I really want to. I think the moon has been amply documented; and while I might be able to make a competent photo of the moon, it would be nothing new.
I photograph the beauty in the everyday people that I meet. And unlike lunar photography, I hope that I am putting something new out there!

I hope you enjoy today's photo. It was made on the UAA campus.
