This is the tail of
bull terrier Miss Daisy Duke

Bad to the Bone
Daisy went by many
nicknames;
Daisy Duke, Daiz, Dukey,
Bookey, Pookey, Wookey, Lover Girl, Pig.
The Nose Knows
Daisy was very nosey
indeed. One of her favorite pastimes was to go through people’s
purses. You couldn’t leave your purse on the floor if you came
for a visit to Daisy’s house, not unless you wanted her to find
and eat all your chewing gum!!!

“I can smell Juicy Fruit …”
They Don’t Call Them
‘Bullies’ for Nothing
Daisy was definitely a
bully. I am quite sure that she thought that she was Henry VIII
reincarnated! She was very aloof and could be quite nasty to
her competition!

“What are you looking at?”
Talk
About Spoiled
Daisy expected everyone
to wait on her hand and paw. She was a very demanding soul, but
since her mommy is equally as High Maintenance, I could never
refuse her.

“Does this boa make me look fat?”
The Pig
Daisy was insatiable when
it came to food. If anyone stepped foot into the kitchen, Daisy
would go plop herself down in the middle of the floor so that
you wouldn’t forget about her!

“We’re HUNGRY!”
Driving Miss Daisy
Daisy loved to go for
rides when she was young, but as she aged, she preferred waiting
for me at home. Yet, near the end, she had a new-found love for
taking rides in the car. She would actually go stand at the
passenger side of my truck until I gave in and took her for a
drive. Once, she even tried to get her own license, but once
she got it, she realized she still couldn’t reach the pedals …

Stay off the 405!
Ever the Joker
Daisy truly had a sense
of humor. She was always at her antics and she truly made every
day brighter for the 11+ years she graced my life. The days
seem to pass so slowly without my best buddy around to make me
laugh.

Poem to Bull Terrier
Miss Daisy Duke by Momma Lesli
I had a
friend named Daisy
The best I’ve ever had
She loved with no condition
Without her I’m so sad
She never
hurt my feelings
Unlike the human sort,
She had four legs; a tail; and
Her voice was more a snort
My
precious Daisy Duke
Will not soon be forgot
The days and nights are lonely
Forget her; I will not
My dear
sweet friend Miss Daisy
Will always live in me
And when I get to Rainbow Bridge
Once more with Daisy I will be
