Alamos Rocks - McKenzie Birnie

Gourd art for sale by McKenzie Birnie in the online art gallery of ArikiArt.  McKenzie spent Christmas of 2002 in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico with some friends. The trip burned many images into her memory, and she created this gourd from those memories.  The inside of the gourd is also decorated with holy pictures reminiscent of the paintings of the saints on the walls of the "Los Santos" hotel.
