About this Limited Edition Print

Printed in a limited edition of 12 prints on paper with border embossed by the artist depicting palm trees.

This is one in a series of seven titles depicting the flora and fauna of Raymond Neher's imaginary Republic of Cadatonia.  Each print in the series features a description of the imaginary scene below the print, with the text written in either French or English.

The text below the print reads

English Version:
All through the summer, the renowned Del Monaco cattle in the great central valley feast on wild roses. Beef lovers say that Del Monaco steaks have a subtle rose aroma when they are grilled medium rare.

French Version:
Le diner est serrvi à vingt heures
En été, le bétail renommé Del Monaco broute des roses sauvages parmi la grande vallée centrale. La gourmandise dit que le steak Del Monaco, grillé à point, a l'arome subtil des roses.
