Che Guevara smokes what is no doubt nothing less than a "CUBAN cigar" in
this swarthy Carry Grant-like portrait by Max Emadi. Legendary Latin
American freedom fighter, Che Guevara (Ernesto Guevara de la Serna) was
politicized by his contact with the poor and dispossessed as he toured through
Latin America on a motorcycle as a youth. (See the movie
Motor Cycle Diaries starring Gael Garcia Bernal). Ultimately Che ended
up as one of Fidel Castro's cohorts, helping Castro seize power in Cuba in 1959.
