Giclee Print Reproduction "Nightingulls"

This giclee reproduction of Raymond Neher's painting of "Nightingulls" is one of four bird paintings in a series entitled "The Birds of Cadatonia".  The fanciful "Nightingulls" are painted in midnight blue and black, and appear on a background that features a full-moon. The cigar-like clouds of "Cadatonia" appear in the background as well.

Each bird in the series is a creation of Raymond Neher's imagination and the series is an extension of his series of monoprints entitled the "Flora and Fauna of Cadatonia".  Cadatonia was an imaginary land that Raymond Neher created based on his recollection of an imaginary land he dreamed up during childhood summer vacations at the New Jersey shore.
