Abstract Painting - Suppress

The easiest way in life to try and avoid your problems and fears are to keep them in yourself. Thinking that it might make you feel better. While a person is keeping all of this in there are more things in life happening that also influence you. By keeping everything bottled up in you, you are bound to explode and you have to deal with it one way or the other.

Abstract Painting - Myself from outside

Abstract painting myself from outside by Daniele van Eck
This painting portrays the issues of life. It contains a figure that sees it's own shadow, the same as one sees all your troubles and issues when looking at yourself. All problems and issues seems too complicated to handle whereas from a different, positive point of view it seems as simple as your usual shadow following you around.

Fine Art Nudes Painting - Perfect Physique

Fine art nudes painting perfect physique by daniele van eck
Perfect Physique was done in loving memory of my late father Harry William Crawford van Eck . Unfortunately he passed away before I started painting.
It consists of a male figure exploiting his torso and hand. The torso portrays the strength and durability of a man, shoulders, which he carried the burdens of his family, abdomen, the place where laughter started, arms, where he kept me safe, heart, where he believed in me and lastly the hand, with which he lead me through life, kept me with him all the way, provided me with all I needed and taught that I can be anything I want and do anything i put my mind to.

Abstract Collection Red/Black

The Collection consists of paintings illustrating sensitive aspects of South Africa's current state. The paintings are only done in red, black and a bit of white. Color red used gives energy to these paintings which in returns depicts happiness and liveliness where as the black conveys a morbid, deadly and fearing feeling. In contrast with the symbolism of the painting it actually portrays Chinese/Eastern contents of tradition, unity and religion.

Abstract Painting - Picturesque

Abstract painting Picturesque by Daniele van Eck Picturesque awards you with a comforting, warm and calm feeling. Colors used are balancing and inviting and almost gives the sense of looking over a landscape. I created this with the intention to convey that anything complicated can be seen in a way of simplicity through the correct mind set.

Fine Art Nudes Painting - Tentative

Fine art nudes painting Tentative by Daniele van EckTentative brings forward a shy/reversed feeling of secrets, symbolising a self concealed feeling or even ignominy and in a way it makes you feel accountable for something. Female form depicts a soft, gentle and vulnerable mind set. Black background again adds to sensuality and brings out the beauty of a woman which in return conceals everything inside of her soul.
