This painting portrays the issues of life. It contains a figure that sees it's own shadow, the same as one sees all your troubles and issues when looking at yourself. All problems and issues seems too complicated to handle whereas from a different, positive point of view it seems as simple as your usual shadow following you around.

Fine Art Nudes Painting - Perfect Physique

Perfect Physique was done in loving memory of my late father Harry William Crawford van Eck . Unfortunately he passed away before I started painting.
It consists of a male figure exploiting his torso and hand. The torso portrays the strength and durability of a man, shoulders, which he carried the burdens of his family, abdomen, the place where laughter started, arms, where he kept me safe, heart, where he believed in me and lastly the hand, with which he lead me through life, kept me with him all the way, provided me with all I needed and taught that I can be anything I want and do anything i put my mind to.

Fine Art Nudes Painting - Tentative

Tentative brings forward a shy/reversed feeling of secrets, symbolising a self concealed feeling or even ignominy and in a way it makes you feel accountable for something. Female form depicts a soft, gentle and vulnerable mind set. Black background again adds to sensuality and brings out the beauty of a woman which in return conceals everything inside of her soul.
