New work completed - "The Letter"

Woman contemplating the contents of a letter -Painting by Bryce BrownI have just completed 'The Letter'. I'm very happy with the outcome which I hope provokes you to wonder just what the letter was about.

I'll varnish this piece in the next week or so, but you are welcome to stop by and view at the studio if you are in the area.

Kind regards
Bryce

Hi Bryce. I'm visiting Arikiart Online Gallery today for the first time and came across you, your work and specially "the letter", for the first time too. It's a great painting. The expression on the woman's face reveals so much and so little, all and nothing, caught in a brief moment in time - a still moment... I love it!From the Antipodes (Lisbon, Portugal) i say nice to meet you. My name is Maria Jose.

Thanks for the comments on this painting all... it is one of my favorite too! I sold it to somebody about an hours drive from where I live, so its not too far to visit!! I have plans for more like this, and have a couple of similar works (using the same model if you can spot her) on my site www.brycebrownart.com if you'd like to take a look.
Best
