Lunchtime in the Bush
Lunch time in the bush 71 x 91 cm
I've captured a moment in time as these six 'historical' figures stop for lunch amongst Kauri trees. Typically the area they are in would have been quite scrubby with more undergrowth, ferns, tree fall, etc. But I have chosen to keep the composition clean and open. Although the figures have quite a generic look to them they could easily be of Dalmation origin as were a lot of early bush (Kauri) working settlers in New Zealand.
This work is currently in my studio. Please enquire if you are interested in purchasing this painting.
