LA Area Artists' Exhibition at Bransdall Art Park

From July 20-August 26 the Barnsdall Art Park in Hollywood, CA is featuring the work of LA area artists.

Exhibiting in the show are two ArikiArt members, Juan Coronado and McKenzie Birnie.

Juan Coronado is exhibiting his abstract interpretation of the Jetson's robot maid "Rosie", which is kind of ironic in the sense that I have always thought of this piece as somehow being very "arts-and-crafts", and right next to the Barnsdall Art museum is one of architect Frank Lloyd Wright's classic arts-and-crafts homes, The Hollyhock House, built for Aline Barnsdall.

So be sure to visit both the exhibition and the Hollyhock House, which makes a great "double-billing" day out in Los Angeles.

LA Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Art Park

Located next to Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House in East Hollywood, the Barnsdall Art Park includes the LA Municipal Art Gallery which showcases local and international art.

Visiting both the Hollyhock House and the Barnsdall Art Park provide a great "double feature" event that also provides good views across to the Hollywood Sign.

• Exit Hollywood Blvd. (turn left)


• Drive to 4800 Hollywood Blvd.


• Turn right into parking lot


• Near the intersection of Hollywood Blvd. and Vermont Ave.
