A CHRISTMAS CAROL, based on Dickens classic Christmas story, written by Richard Hellesen, music and lyrics by David de Berry, directed by Ernest A. Figueroa has its LA Premiere and opening, Saturday, November 28, 7:30 pm, at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood. The musical plays Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 7:30 pm, with a Sunday matinee at 2:00 pm, through December 20, 2009.

The Olmsted Districts Preservation Association, the organization working to Save Historic Old Torrance for the kids of tomorrow announces its annual Christmas Grand Tea. This year the Grand Tea is at the historic 1912 Craftsman bungalow, which is the Zamperini House, the former home of the track star, Olympian and WWII Hero, Louis Zamperini. The Zamperini house located at 2028 Gramercy Avenue, in historic Old Torrance will be beautifully decorated for Christmas. Join in the festivities of the Christmas Grand Tea hosted by the organization on Saturday, December 5th, and again for their annual Mothers Day Tea 8, 2010.
Saturday, December 5, 2009, is the day of this Christmas Grand Tea, which is always huge fun for all who attend! Come and be treated like royalty at the Christmas Grand Tea, or better yet, make this your Christmas gift to someone to share in with you. Wear your own hat or choose one from the hats provided!
