Parchment

An abstract painting by Juan Coronado which features highly-textured areas created with the use of gauze and modeling compound.  The colors in the painting include white, cream, and yellow, and also features a dark horizontal band across the bottom of the painting.  The artist has created a "distressed" look to the artwork giving the impression that the the parchment that it represents is centuries old.
