This abstract artwork incorporates a wonderful combination of colors, including gold, red, black, and a range of ocher tones.  Geometric patterns are broken by a tear-drop shape on its side.

The original of this artwork was in a corner of Juan's studio when he held his opening on the first Saturday of July, 2005.  At the time Juan had not quite finished the painting and did not intend for it to be for sale.  However, it captured the attention of several of the guests at the opening, and 3 or 4 people expressed their interest in buying the artwork just as it was.  What was the artist to do but sell it that night considering his collecting public considered the work "done".
