In this painting entitled "Guitarist" we do not actually see the guitarist himself, just his empty jacket, his shoes, and edge of his hat, and his deconstructed guitar. Kakulia never presents his subject in a realistic fashion, but rather as an abstract interpretation of its parts. Perhaps the suggestion in this painting is that what makes the guitarist is more his instrument and costume than the man himself.
