This male nude is another painting by Raymond Neher that is clearly anchored in 1960's sensibilities. The painting is somewhat ethereal and psychedelic in quality. A naked man appears to float in the sky while holding a rainbow.

One interpretation of the painting could be that of a resurrected Christ figure rising into heaven. Alternatively, in its cultural context, it could be a painting inspired by a psychedelic experience representing a sense of rebirth and identification with the Rainbow Family.
