On our visits to New Zealand we have been blown away by the quality and accessibility of art, and New Zealanders have also impressed us with their passion in buying original art for their private collections and homes. Ku Bailey - Maori Art and Craft - New Zealand

New Zealand Maori artist Ku Bailey lives in West Auckland. She achieved international recognition when her quilt depicting the Maori story of creation became a finalist in the Millenium Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas. Her quilt toured the US and some European and Asian cities as a result. Her online gallery offers taniko weaving and taonga totems.
