Monoprint by American artist Raymond Neher

The Mystery of the Hens - Limited edition of 12 prints, one in a series of 7 titles depicting the flora and fauna of Raymond Neher's imaginary Republic of Cadatonia. Please note that each monoprint is printed by the artist separately using successive color overlays, and as a result each print is unique and color may vary slightly between the prints as a result.

Renowned California artist, Raymond Neher, passed away from cancer on March 15, 2004, and limited quantities remaining from the artist's collection are available for sale exclusively at Ariki Art.

Limited edition monoprint. After years of research, scientists cannot explain the exotic colored eggs of the Pasqal Prairie free-range chickens. Locals attribute the colors to the consumption of seeds from the wild bonfire plant.

Seven prints in the series, sold individually. This playful series of prints features an account of the fauna below the print, some in French, others in English. The prints are on paper embossed by the artist using a template with palm trees to the left and right sides, and stylized seagulls above. The Mystery of the Hens (Le mystère des poules) English Version: After years of research, scientists cannot explain the exotic colored eggs of the Pasqal Prairie free-range chickens. French Version: Les zoologistes ne peuvent pas expliquer les coulerus exotiques des oeufs de pules de la Prairie de Pâques.
