Monoprint - Paneranian Sheep in Springtime - by Raymond Neher. Limited edition of 12 prints in a series of 7 titles depicting the flora and fauna of Raymond Neher's imaginary Republic of Cadatonia. Please note that each monoprint is printed by the artist separately using successive color overlays, and as a result each print is unique and color may vary slightly between the prints as a result.

Renowned California artist, Raymond Neher, passed away from cancer on March 15, 2004, and limited quantities remaining from the artist's collection are available for sale exclusively at Ariki Art.

Limited edition monoprint. All along the lower coast, everybody knows that the sighting of a tangerine crane is a sign of good luck. Not very long ago, the population of these birds was uncountable. Today, forty-three are known to exist.

One of a limited edition of 12 Monoprints each depicting the fauna of the imaginary Republic of Cadatonia created and printed by Raymond Neher. Seven prints in the series. Also available individually. This playful series of prints features an account of the fauna below the print, some in French, others in English. The prints are on paper embossed by the artist using a template with palm trees to the left and right sides, and stylized seagulls above.

English Version:

French Version:
L'habitat de ses rare moutons se situe au S.O. C'est une plaine sans arbres qui s'étend sur deux cents kilometres de la côte vers l'intérieur.  Ces moutons sont très estimés à cause de leur laine lisse et rose. Encore pluse estimée est la toison souple et dorée de leurs agneaux au printemps.
