Monoprint Fine Art Prints in limited edition series by American artist Raymond Neher We are pleased to be able to offer for sale a limited number of remaining limited edition monoprints by California artist Raymond Neher. Raymond passed away from cancer on March 15th, 2004 (obituary). There are limited numbers of his monoprints remaining for sale, so take advantage of this opportunity to collect a piece of art from this renowned artist. How did Raymond Neher create his monoprints? Raymond first created a series of etching plates for the print, one for each color that would make up the print. Paint of a different color was then applied to each of the plates, and using each plate in turn, the paint was transferred to the sheet of paper using a press. This one-of-a-kind print process results in individual prints that are unique, and color variations can exist between each print.
