Roadscape painting - I'd Sooner be in OklahomaIt is with deep sadness that I must report that on the morning of Monday March 15th, Raymond Neher passed away peacefully at his home after a three year battle with cancer. Throughout that period, Raymond inspired all of his friends with his heroic and positive attitude and determination to continue to say "Yes" to life throughout his illness. Raymond had grown up with a profound desire to be an artist and committed a large part of his life to painting and print-making. Those who have collected his art over the years will continue to treasure the works in their possession, while also holding on to something that truly represents the essence of all that Raymond wanted to be in life. The inspiration for Ariki Art originally came from my love of Raymond's work and a desire on my part to promote it for him. It is with regret that Ariki Art is currently not able to offer the items displayed at ArikiArt.com for sale, but it is my hope and the express wish of Raymond that I be able to offer some of his remaining works upon settlement of his estate. -- John CorneyRaymond Neher American Landscape ArtistRaymond Neher Roadscapes - Landscape painting meets the road |
