Taniko Amulet made by traditional Maori finger weaving using linen and silk threads. Glass beads adorn the ends of the fringing and necklace. Lined pouch contains laminated card with The Lord's Prayer in Maori. The pattern on the front of the pouch represents the Ten Commandments in traditional Maori form. Back features Celtic cross, representing the Maori and European cultures upon which modern day Aotearoa (New Zealand) is founded.
